Post covid 19, the biggest positive impact our service has had on the people we support with learning disabilities is providing them with a safe place, within the community, to re-connect with other people again after spending the most part in isolation.
We listen to the people we support which is why our activities are client-led. People who attend our service know that their choices, interests and preferences are acted upon.
Located right in the Kingfisher centre, we are part of the kingfisher community where we have good relations with the staff and many of the shops and cafes always give us a warm welcome. We are also in prime position to access public transport.
All inhouse clubs and activities organised by High Strive are free as we do not believe our clients should pay twice for the service. Day trips are heavily subsidised and our mission in the future, as a non-profit organisation is to cover all extra costs through service charges and fundraising.
Service area
We are based in Redditch town centre and will consider clients from all area’s.
